My name is Roxanne Evans and I live in Venice, Florida, just a few short minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. My passion is wildlife, nature and pets-but I can be lured off by anything that looks like a good shot. My best friend and shooting partner, Doug, has been introducing me to some new shooting styles--lots of landscapes, photo walks and looking at things in new ways-so hopefully I'll be exploring more ways to shoot in the days to come. We both live by the rule of "one more shot" and we'll go home!

My gear: Canon 40D, Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 and Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS. I also has a Lensbaby Muse that I have not yet begun to master. Plus I have a Tamron 1.4 telextender and a Kenko Auto Extension Tube set. I use a Bogen Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod and ball head and occasionally use the same brand of monopod. I shoot in RAW format and edit in Lightroom, Photoshop CS3 and also use Neat Image Pro Plus for noise removal. I also recently added Photomatix and Nik Color Efex Pro to the arsenal as well as Corel Painter X for getting more creative.
