This is Micah. He is a handsome American Short Hair wannabee in the blue classic tabby (the bullseye pattern). He was born on September 30, 2008 and he's become an integral part of my family. He's also wonderful at letting me know just how much I have to learn about photography as I try my best to steal moments of time when he finally pauses his activity while scouting the screened lanai for marauding wildlife in the back yard. You never know when a crazed squirrel will attack or a cardinal will threaten our security-so he is ever vigilant.
